From 18 to 21 October Hotel 2021 will return to the Bolzano exhibition center https://www.fierabolzano.it/it/hotel/home. international fair dedicated to the hôtellerie and catering sectors.
The 45th edition will see the participation of 600 exhibitors who will bring 220 new products to the fair.
At the heart of innovation, circular economy and regionality, architecture and design: all under the inevitable roof of sustainability. An award – the Sustainability Award – and a program-events will be dedicated to this theme.
There will also be industry best practices, ready to inspire and revolutionize.

Sustainability Award 2021

In fact, the Sustainability Award, organized in collaboration with NOI Techpark Alto Adige, Free University of Bolzano, Ökoinstitut Südtirol / Alto Adige, Eurac Research and Autonomous Province of Bolzano, returns this year too for the third edition and in a renewed form.
The goal of the initiative is once again to give recognition to the most deserving companies in terms of sustainability and their work, not always known, made up of research and development.
The categories have changed since this year and become: Innovation, Design, Circle and Sustainable Pioneers powered by IDM. Seven jurors – including Thomas Mur, director of Fiera Bolzano – who will decide the four winners among the 70 participants.
The award ceremony will take place on the evening of Wednesday 20 October in H1, the brand new internal courtyard of Fiera Bolzano with 2,500 square meters of covered space available.

Hotel Connects Stage confirmed

The key themes of the Sustainability Award will also be the leitmotif of Hotel 2021 and its fifty events presented on the Hotel Connects Stage, a stage between the aisles created in the 2020 edition, and also available in live streaming.
Monday 18 will therefore be the day dedicated to innovation, Tuesday 19 to regionality and Wednesday 20 will be the turn of architecture and design. Finally, on Thursday 21st, the best practices: the “pioneers” of local and national sustainability will talk about each other to inspire the public with their virtuous examples of hôtellerie and catering.
