
On 20 September, the 38th Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings, was presented. An appointment that will take place at the Bologna exhibition center from Monday 27 September to Friday 1 October.
During the press conference, the president of BolognaFiere, Gianpiero Calzolari, said: “The activity of this second half of 2021 is a prestigious resumption, with the holding of international leading events that are back in attendance after the interruption imposed by the pandemic. . A few days ago we concluded the first appointments on the calendar which confirmed the expectations and the desire for recovery. 38th Cersaie, which we will inaugurate in the coming days, will confirm this trend, due to the undisputed leadership of the event and the importance of the companies participating in it. The collaboration relationship between Confindustria Ceramica and BolognaFiere has always resulted in dialogue and sharing of strategic objectives for the enhancement of our activities and has manifested itself even more clearly in the realization of this 2021 edition ».
38th Cersaie confirms all the positive formats already seen. These include the Lectio Magistralis, which this year will be held by the Pritzker Shigeru Ban Prize in attendance, and the conferences of Costruire Abitare Pensare.
The exhibitions on the works of the G124 and the competition “Ceramics and the project” will also be part of the calendar; the 18 Cafè della Stampa; La Città della Posa and the advice to individuals of “Cersaie designs your home”.
The strengthening of incoming was also mentioned, thanks to the 1.2 million euro agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, and the birth of Cersaie Digital, ‘to make participation in the fair more effective. or to participate remotely.
In closing, Armando Cafiero, general manager of Confindustria Ceramica, explained, through a simple infographic, that if the visit to the 38th Cersaie does not exceed 120 hours of total stay in Italy, quarantine is not required. Furthermore, through the video “Visiting Cersaie is easy”, translated into four languages, he showed how to access and use the Exhibition Center, exhibitor stands and catering facilities. The same rules already applied in Italy in similar contexts in an absolutely normal way and have become commonplace.
