From 11 to 13 September, the 9th edition of DaTE, an international exhibition dedicated to avant-garde eyewear, is underway at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence.
In Florence, at the Stazione Leopolda, a central and highly strategic location easily reachable by car and train, the appointment with the avant-garde eyewear dedicated to autumn-winter 2021-22 is back.
An event where the protagonists were the most innovative players in the world, united by the ability to create, experiment, innovate, amaze.
The event presented itself as a strategic moment of meeting and comparison, placing itself as a pole of attraction for companies that stand out for innovation and design and in research eyewear within the world scenario.
At the 9th edition of DaTE there are over 120 Italian and foreign brands.
Collaboration with the ICE Agency continued this year to support and strengthen the internationalization objectives of the Florentine event. An objective confirmed by the presence of the president of ICE, Carlo Maria Ferro.
On Friday 11 September, on the occasion of the opening of the event, the president of the 9th edition of DaTE, Giovanni Vitaloni, declared: “Giving shape to the forefront is the claim of this edition which represents the main reference event for the sector in 2021: a great moment of sharing, live, to build the foundations for a new future of eyewear. It will be an important moment for our sector. After many months of fair inactivity, our show will open with 50% more exhibitors than last year. Buyers will have over 120 brands at their disposal, 45% of which of international origin, which stand out for their originality, design and innovative use of materials. These are important signs, which make us hope for a return to the business of the pre-covid times ».
