Waiting for the start of Macfrut 2021 edition https://www.macfrut.com/, scheduled at the Rimini Expo Center from 7 to 9 September, the expectation of operators in the sector is growing.
Many (about 800) responded to the event, reflecting the desire to meet in attendance to present and discover the latest news from the entire supply chain (production, technologies, machinery, packaging, logistics, services …).
Macfrut 2021 edition, the first agrifood event in attendance
A foreign presence with important new entries and the adhesion of the great Italian players in the sector should be noted. To these are added the over 500 international buyers accredited in collaboration with Ice-Agenzia.
The program of Macfrut 2021 edition, the international fruit and vegetable fair, foresees forty events this year over the course of the three days, to which will be added the technical tests in the field in a special dedicated area.
Furthermore, thanks to the simultaneous presence of Fieravicola, an international event dedicated to poultry farming, the three-day Rimini event is the first major event dedicated to agrifood.
All this for a sector like that of fruit and vegetables, considered among the main ones of Made in Italy, which accounts for 20% of the agri-food sector with 1.2 million hectares planted with fruit and vegetables and which involves 300 thousand companies with 15 billion euro in value.
A content fair
The specificity of Macfrut 2021 edition lies in its peculiarity as a “supply chain fair”, representing eleven exhibition sectors.
Added to this is a wide range of content dedicated to the main themes of the sector, at the center of meetings, workshops, conferences and press events.
Many of these events are promoted directly by the exhibiting companies who choose the Rimini event to present their novelties. A special event, in particular, will be organized together with the FAO on the occasion of the International Year of Fruit and Vegetables. As well as a series of initiatives are planned by the Sardinia Region, partner of this edition.
For those who cannot participate, Macfrut 2021 edition proposes the Macfrut Digital platform which allows them to expand relations with “distant” countries, organize b2b meetings, follow the recordings of conferences and visit the virtual stands of the exhibiting companies.
