
The appointment with Cersaie 2021 edition will be officially presented on 5 July at Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna.
The International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings, which marks the return of the event to the physical format and is the first fair to be held in Bologna, will completely occupy the 15 pavilions in the BolognaFiere district.
It will be five days during which companies, architects, designers, contractors and retailers will be able to meet and start doing business again. Around 600 exhibitors will be present in the exhibition spaces of the capital, 41% of which from abroad, arriving from 25 countries.
The organizational work to confirm the ceramics fair as a global reference fair is proceeding at full capacity and in close synergy with the activities carried out in this phase by the city and regional institutions.
The return of both national and international professional operators to Bologna on the occasion of Cersaie 2021 edition is essential for the restart of the economy and the territory after the pandemic.
The visit and stay in safety, along the entire stay chain – starting from the places and means of transport, from hospitality to conviviality, to staying in the exhibition center and in the stands – represent the shared objective of the actions that are being taken. developing at the level of the organizing body and of local and regional institutions.
Among the novelties of Cersaie 2021 edition the new concept of “Open to Evolution”: the Cersaie cube, static and closed shape, opens and breaks down into many small cubes / pixels that dynamically navigate upwards to discover new possibilities and configurations.
A new image to represent a container that is always open to different stimuli, to changes, to mutation.
Moderated by the journalist Maria Latella, the presentation event will see the presence of Gianpiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere, representatives of Confindustria, such as Giovanni Savorani, president of Confindustria Ceramica and Patrizia Bauer, president of the Tourism and Culture Industry Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, and of the city and the region, such as the mayor Virginio Merola and Stefano Bonaccini, president of the Emilia Romagna Region.
The meeting will also be attended by Italian and foreign exhibitors in zoom mode.
