The expectation of buyers is growing for Micam 2021, the international fair promoted by Assocalzaturifici, scheduled from 19 to 21 September at Fiera Milano Rho.
The event is back in attendance with the new formula that concentrates in three days, instead of four, the preview discovery of the spring-summer 2022 collections and industry trends.
Thanks also to the progress of the vaccination plan, a strong presence of both Italian and foreign operators is expected, who will be able to safely watch and touch the new products of the best brands from around the world.
Siro Badon, president of Assocalzaturifici and Micam 2021: «We have worked tirelessly to provide all the tools to relaunch business opportunities, order negotiations, supporting Italian companies in penetrating international markets. Only in this way will we be able to revive the fortunes of a production sector that is fundamental for Made in Italy. The synergy between physical and virtual presence will be strengthened. The emergency and the related health restrictions, which did not allow us to travel, have taught us that it is necessary to push on the accelerator on the digitalization front, to reach and meet the needs of those who will not be able to visit the event ” .
For this reason, the Micam Milano Digital Show platform will support the physical event from 15 September to 15 November, allowing brands to schedule visits and meetings with buyers before, during and after the fair.
Micam X, an innovation hub which, in the digital version broadcast from March to May, recorded over 31,000 views, will also return to Micam 2021. Through seminars, workshops, innovative and technological proposals, the hub will present to operators the new market trends, style, materials research, the future of retail and sustainability with a panel of top-level speakers.
Do not miss the launch of the new certification tool created by Assocalzaturifici to enhance companies that have a credible industrial sustainability project.
Micam 2021 will complete the fourth edition of Emerging Designers, an event area dedicated to 12 international footwear designers; the Micam Start-Up Boot Camp concept and the new Italian Artisan Heroes area, promoted by Assocalzaturifici and dedicated to the best Italian private label productions.
