The EIMA Digital Show as part of the 44th EIMA International (19-23 October 2021) showcases the most innovative technologies, and offers a program of events on the subject created in collaboration with universities and the world association AEF. The advanced electronics market for agriculture has grown fivefold in the last four years, but is destined to grow ever more markedly thanks also to the incentive system for the digital transition.

Digital technologies for agriculture 4.0 are at the heart of Eima International 2021 www.eima.it, the world exhibition of agricultural mechanics scheduled from 19 to 23 October at the Bologna Fair.
In fact, the important event includes a space specifically dedicated to advanced electronics within Pavilion 36.
It is Eima Digital, an exhibition which, confirmed this year after the success of the 2018 edition, offers visitors a very broad overview of various latest generation solutions. Such as satellite guidance, GPS, on-board computer, Isobus devices, sensors, specific software and drones.

A few months from the start – says FederUnacoma, direct organizer of the event – about 30 specialized companies have confirmed their participation in Eima Digital, and others should be added in the coming weeks given the topicality of the topic and the economic interest for 4.0 technologies.
The systematic use of digital technologies on board mechanical vehicles and in cultivated areas makes it possible to optimize their performance and thus combine productivity and sustainability, which is the key theme of the European Green Deal and of the NRP itself.

According to data from the Smart Agrifood Observatory, between 2017 and 2020 the value of the 4.0 market has more than quintupled in agriculture, going from 100 million euros to 540 million, a business destined to grow imposingly also in consideration of funds. for the digital transition that will be made available with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan developed by the Government and soon fully operational.
In addition to being a showcase of the most advanced technologies, Eima Digital is also an opportunity for dissemination and professional updating on 4.0 applications. In fact, specific conferences and seminars are scheduled in the context of the fair, thanks to the presence of university and research institutions and to the collaboration with Aef, which brings together experts in digital systems applied to agriculture worldwide, which will have a permanent presence at Eima 2021. .
