Founded in 1965, Autopromotec is the international exhibition dedicated to automotive equipment and aftermarket that takes place every two years in the Bologna Exhibition Center. The formula of the event, organized by Promotec, part of the Italian Tire Retreaders Association and the Italian Auto Equipment Manufacturers Association, is based on the specialization, professionalism and quality of the exhibition offer which includes over 580 product categories.
Last year, the organizers decided to postpone Autopromotec to 2022, a decision taken with the aim of protecting the approximately 1,700 participating companies, as underlined in a press release by the CEO Renzo Servadei: “Today, given the progress of the vaccination campaign , the gradual return to normalcy and growth of the world economy estimated at around 6% by the International Monetary Fund, we think, indeed, I would say that we are sure to be able to confirm to exhibitors, professional operators and the many visitors that over the years the dates of the fair were present at Autopromotec: from 25 to 28 May 2022 in Bologna, in the exhibition center.
In 2022 we will probably be the first major European event since 2019 after this long exhibition blackout. We all want to hug each other again, but also to start doing business again by looking each other in the face. For this reason, we want to provide companies in the sector with a perfect showcase to present their important innovations to the global automotive aftermarket market. The automotive market has changed completely compared to three years ago, and there will be many beautiful things to see: we are therefore excited to be able to present them first.
We are working to create an innovative format with Autopromotec that makes it possible to make B2B meetings more engaging and interactive. It is true that we will hold a show in attendance, but we will certainly not forget everything we have acquired with respect to the possibility of working on digital too.
Many exhibitors have already confirmed their presence, while the institutions have assured that they will support the exhibition with particular attention. Autopromotec 2022 will not be just a business activity. Located in the heart of the Motor Valley, the fair will also be an opportunity for the many visitors, especially from abroad, to get to know a territory rich in culture and services.
