From 15 June the exhibition activities officially resume, and 44th Eima International starts “in the front row”. And this is also thanks to the new structures in the exhibition center and to an advanced health prevention system to welcome visitors.

The Italian government has in fact released the exhibition events – with the DL “Riaperture” of 22 April – and the world exhibition of agricultural machinery, held at the Bologna fair from 19 to 23 October next, will be the first international event in the agro sector. -mechanical to reopen the doors.

44th Eima International is therefore confirmed as the reference event in the 2021 calendar for the reference sectors. An interest also confirmed by the almost 1,600 exhibiting industries already booked, of which 30% arriving from abroad.

The exhibition represents an event of considerable importance for economic operators, farmers and mechanization technicians, after the long pause caused by the health emergency that saw the cancellation of all other sector events scheduled for 2020 and 2021.

The Bologna fair, which has hosted the event since 1969, the year of its first edition, is ready to welcome exhibitors and visitors within a district undergoing development. After the new pavilions 29 and 30, inaugurated in the 2018 edition, 44th Eima International will see the launch of pavilion 37. The new space will be joined by the restyling of the walkways, refreshment areas and services, which represent a further step towards the complete restructuring of the exhibition area already planned. However, it will be above all the control and health safety systems that will qualify the Bologna district and the October review. Systems to ensure the distancing of visitors – arriving from all over the world, thanks also to the “green corridors” prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – rationalized paths for the management of flows, IT supports and apps to monitor the distribution of the public in the pavilions , health and control facilities, especially systems for the online purchase of tickets and for the booking of business meetings in order to avoid gatherings and unnecessary stops within the neighborhood.

44th Eima International will also be one of the first trade fair events to adopt the pass for “certified” visitors, currently being studied in Europe.
