This year Venditalia 2020, the international trade fair of the automatic distribution, which will take place in Milan from 20 to 23 May, aims to overcome all the numbers of the previous editions.
A purpose mostly favored by the new location – the exhibition spaces of Fieramilano Rho – which will bring numerous logistical advantages to Venditalia 2020. Starting from the exhibition spaces, much larger and distributed on one floor, without forgetting cutting-edge services, more efficient connections and more parking for visitors, a better one access to facilities.
As for the Venditalia 2020 program, the moments of comparison and workshops have been multiplied, and the calendar of conferences will be the richest and most complete of all time. Two days (Thursday 21 and Friday 22 May) will be dedicated to the debate on the two main themes of Venditalia 2020, based on technological innovation and sustainability.
Sustainability in these months has really been at the center of the RiVending “tour”, the project of circular economy for the recovery and recycling of plastic cups and pallets for vending machines, promoted by Confida – Italian Distribution Association Automatica, Corepla – National Consortium for the Collection and Recovery of Packagingin Plastic, Unionplast – National Union of Plastic Processing Industries(Plastic Rubber Federation).
RiVending will also be the protagonist at Venditalia 2020, inside of a more general debate that will touch different aspects of the relationship between sustainability and the world of automatic distribution.
Venditalia 2020 and Coronavirus
Venditalia 2020 also suffered the effects of the Coronavirus emergency, as evidenced the letter sent by Ernesto Piloni, president of Venditalia, to exhibitors and visitors.
After recalling the emergency climate of these weeks between late February and early March, Piloni invites to return to the normal range. “Change deadline would be extremely risky and, given the time that separates us from the start of the fair,probably useless. The Lombardy ordinance should last a maximum of one more couple of weeks and our event is almost three months from today!
The exhibiting companies see in Venditalia 2020 a fundamental appointment for promoting their business and meeting the most important buyers of the automatic distribution.
We also notice that many other major events, Vinitaly and Cibus, have confirmed their dates, all between April and May. Salone del Mobile has also postponed its appointment for only two month: in mid-June… Exhibiting at the fair the excellence of vending already in May, means giving an important message to the markets and offering a great opportunity to the whole sector.
