The project arouse from the need of uniting the forces in the sector. We’re studying it with the goal that these companies will be able to get in touch with high level and premium customers. The companies we sensitized with our project answered enthusiastically. The IT Lab club will be made of selected producing companies that have to be good companies with the ability of offering accurate guarantees. We’ll be very strict in the selection”.

About the 40/41% of the visitors of Lineapelle came from the leather goods sector”.

The new club has the aim of becoming the reference point of the sourcing and it also wants to enhance the more and more important role of the “contractors”.

Danny D’Alessandro, general manager of Assopellettieri said that “Nowadays there are always more exponents of a sector that combines craftmanship and technology. A sector that often works with very few customers. The majority of these companies work with one or two clients, so they have a high business risk. IT lab becomes a moment when important brands and small designers can find the producers for their collections. The market is following a precise direction: the request of the production for brands”.
