The 30th edition of Milano Unica 2020, from 4 to 6 February at Fieramilano Rho, presents itself with an important change in the exhibition concept, in particular, of those that have established over the years as the two conceptual souls of the event: Trends and Sustainability. In fact, for the first time since the Sustainability project was launched within Milano Unica, the proposals of this area will be integrated into the Trends, the creative heart of Milano Unica. The samples of Trends and those sent by exhibiting companies for the Sustainability project will be presented in a common space in Hall 8. A choice, that of the organizers of Milano Unica 2020, which aims to put at the centre the relationship between creativity, recognized all over the world and on which are based the research and tradition of Made in Italy, and sustainability, another pillar on which to base innovation and research. Visitors to Milano Unica interested in learning more about sustainable samples can contact the team of assistants available in the area, requesting the sending of detailed digital cards that provide all the details related to the products displayed. The 2020 edition of Milano Unica therefore not only marks a milestone in terms of longevity and success, but also becomes the occasion to underline the completion of a path of research and reflection, to which Milano Unica 2020 has long devoted great attention. This commitment does not end in the role of Milano Unica in support of the textile industry and fashion clothing accessories. Organisational aspects also reflect the effort of the event, with concrete steps aimed at ensuring a wind with an ever-decreasing environmental impact. These include the disposal of plastic dishes in the restaurant areas, the use of recycled carpet and, starting from this edition of Milano Unica, the installation at the stand of Acqua Lauretana of a compacting machine to start recycling plastic bottles. As usual, also this 30th edition of Milano Unica 2020 presents contents and insights through a program of seminars, designed to enter the heart of some of the themes of greatest interest for the textile clothing fashion industry and aimed at exhibiting companies, press and visitors. Access to Milano Unica is reserved to authorized buyers (confectioners, stylistic studios, buying groups, department stores, online sale of clothing, footwear, retailers, wholesalers).
