A few days to the opening of PTE PromotionTrade Exhibition, the only annual event in Italy dedicated to the world of advertising object, promotional textiles and technologies for customization. The event, organized by Fiera Milano, will be held at Fieramilanocity from Wednesday 22nd to Friday 24th January 2020. 165 exhibitors (between companies, brands and represented houses), of which 28% come from abroad. 14 countries present; in addition to Italy, France, Germany, Poland and Spain are the most represented. PTE PromotionTrade Exhibition is the reference point for operators who revolve around the production chain of the world of advertising customization. PTE will celebrate its twenty years of quality growth, an increasingly international approach, an eco-sustainable orientation and a return to the product made in Italy. Sustainability will be the common thread of this edition of the event. On 23 January, the second day of the exhibition, PTE, Fiera Milano and Fondazione Sodalitas, a reference organisation for the promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability in Italy, will present a seminar entitled: “How to integrate sustainability into the gadget supply chain: stories and tools”. The meeting will focus on the aspects to be considered in the whole life cycle of the advertising object “sustainable”: from the production processes that optimize the environmental impact to the criteria for choosing a sustainable product up to meeting the growing social and environmental sensitivities of customers. Concrete experiences and operational tools will be shared by Bureau Veritas and Gam Edit, to which will be added the voice of the onlus Mission Children, who will share what it means solidarity gadgets. Sustainability in PTE PromotionTrade will also have an aesthetic connotation. The layout of the event is enriched in fact by the Green path, the thematic path in the fair that highlights exhibitors who present products with ethical content of eco-sustainability, recycling, environmental awareness, and demonstrating the commitment of companies in the promotional sector to the environment and the planet. In addition, during the event, there are also moments dedicated to training and deepening, with a rich program of seminars and workshops at the service of visitors and exhibitors that will take place from the first day of the exhibition. Also present this year the area dedicated to synergies: the PTE Lab. Will host the exhibitors’ machinery that will be in operation combining various customization techniques and realizing real production of clothing and accessories. The area will consist of two sections: a production and a demonstration and LIVE. PTE Lab was developed and managed by Angelo Barzaghi, of the Silkscreen Academy, in collaboration with mob Square by Alessandro Barzaghi. The created and personalized garments and accessories will then be worn by models and become protagonists of fashion shows and presentations. This edition of PTE Lab will have as theme the Art and will see the collaboration of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera: some students of the Painting School will make available their works to be reproduced on different materials with various techniques. There will be 8 different customization techniques. Finally, the reciprocal synergies with HOMI, Fiera Milano’s Lifestyle Show, continue for PTE. PTE operators will be able to obtain free entry to visit HOMI, the dates of which will be partially overlapping. HOMI will be in Fieramilano-Rho from 24th to 27th January.
