From today and until Sunday, November 10th , 200 events will take place in the spaces of Veronafiere, including sports competitions, exhibitions and conferences with a single protagonist: the horse. In fact, Fieracavalli (www.fieracavalli.it), 121° edition of the international fair dedicated to the equestrian world where 750 companies from 25 countries will be present. Twelve pavilions, with all the outdoor areas occupied for a total area of over 300 thousand square meters, visited by buyers from 18 countries and representatives of the 35 breeding associations. Absolute novelty of this 121° Fieracavalli the launch of the Academy, The main objective of this project is to promote a new ethical approach to the horse world and a culture that is more respectful of animal welfare and the environment. Articulated in five areas, the Academy deals with sport, animal welfare, western riding, equiturismo-sustainability and social. Central, as usual, remains the sporting soul of Fieracavalli, where the most awaited appointment is the only Italian stage of the World Cup Jump Obstacles, the Longines FEI jumping World Cup. Eleven fields of competition for a total of 16,700 square meters, to which are added four outdoor areas covered (2,800 square meters) and three test fields (1,750 square meters), equipped with tribunes able to accommodate in all 10 thousand spectators. The disciplines of western riding are also part of the overall design of Fieracavalli’s Academy, which works closely with the Elementa Masters circuit: thanks to this collaboration, This year in the exhibition debuts an international premiere of reining organized according to strict ethical standards.
At Fieracavalli 2019, in pavilion 1, also the area forum AGSM “The journey that changes – Sustainable tourism routes”, dedicated to meetings and seminars on riding tourism held by Earth Academy and Ciset. Also in Hall 1, the Village of the Child, a playful and interactive space where every year over 20,000 young people meet to have fun learning about the equestrian world.
Great expectations on November 9th for the Gala d’Oro, show of equestrian art that since 1987 brings on the stage of Fieracavalli the best international artists, which will take place in Hall 8.
