On 2nd November in Seoul, South Korea, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Fiera Milano (www.fieramilano.it) and Samsung Sds (https://www.samsungs.com) to accelerate the process of digital transformation of the Fiera Milano Group.
The agreement was signed at the Residenza d’Italia in Seoul, South Korea, by Fabrizio Curci, CEO of Fiera Milano, and Won-Pyo Hong, president and CEO of Samsung SDS, in the presence of the Ambassador d’Italia, Federico Failla, and the president of Fondazione Fiera Milano, Enrico Pazzali. Samsung SDS deals with digital transformation and innovation within the Korean group.
Through this agreement, Fiera Milano’s main objective is to accelerate the digital transformation both in the Fieramilano and Fieramilanocity trade fair districts and in the congress centre. The objective of the company is to guarantee these districts the possibility to offer even more quality services to visitors, exhibitors and organizers, with an approach that can ensure an always better customer experience.
Samsung Sds will provide the partnership with its experience and knowledge in digital transformation processes, also thanks to the “Digital transformation Framework” which can exploit technological solutions in support of digital innovation in various sectors.
The first project that will involve Samsung SDS is the digital transformation of the most important elements of visual communication within the exhibition districts. The new digital signage infrastructure (digital signage system), consisting of an innovative system of high-resolution screens adaptable to a wide variety of applications, will make the visiting experience unique in trade fairs and events.
