Tomorrow, Friday, October 18th will kick off in Fiera Milano Rho the 41st edition of HostMilano 2019 (http:/host.fieramilano.it), biennial event where will be present until 22 the different excellences of the Ho.re.Ca universe. In increase the number of companies participating in HostMilano 2019, arrived at 1,912 exhibitors (+8% compared to 2017), of which 1,127 Italian (+7%) and 785 international (+10%), representing 54 countries. Eight new entries: Belarus, Egypt, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Ukraine. Also present are the main foreign trade associations, in particular those of the US and Canada, which have signed a series of strategic agreements with HostMilano 2019. As for the reference sector of the companies that will participate, in pole position Professional catering and Bread Pizza Pasta with 45.7%; follow Caffe Tea – Bar Machines Coffee vending – Ice cream Pastry at 36,5% and the Furniture and Table at 17.8%. In addition to the many professional meetings, there will be workshops, training meetings, show cooking, round tables. At HostMilano 2019 returns Exihs, space-concept signed by architect Dante O. Benini and this year in partnership with Davide Rampello. The large cube traces the history of the welcome through the use of surfaces and matter. Next door, a lounge with a large back wall will host the basic products of agriculture and Italian cuisine.
More and more international event
HostMilano 2019 will be attended by a large representation of hosted buyers, who also arrived thanks to the collaboration with ICE Agenzia. There will be more than 1,500 professionals from 80 countries; with 80% of turnover, and an increasingly complete typology mix, they will come mainly from the US, Canada, the Middle East, UAE, China and Russia. This edition of HostMilano 2019 has pushed more than in the past on the pedal of internationalization, putting in the foreground the vocation of hub of the equipment on a global level. The target markets have been in fact the protagonists of greater investments, both to increase the number of exhibitors and buyers, and to tighten visibility agreements with the main media and trade associations. Exactly what has happened with two markets like the United States and Canada, always those with the greatest growth potential for everything that means Ho.re.Ca., foodservice, retail, gdo and hôtellerie. In addition to the many agreements signed with all the most important overseas realities, to strengthen the link of HostMilano 2019 with the American continent then is the endorsement received by the US government for the fourth time in a row. The Commercial Service of the US Department of Commerce has in fact renewed for the 2019 edition of HostMilano the certification that authorizes the official presence of the Country, recognition granted only to a limited number of international events.
