In Bologna from 23rd to 27 September the appointment with cersaie is renewed (), which this year changes and becomes “Open cersaie”, a new idea of exposure starting from contamination and opening to new worlds of reference. From this idea the creation of a pictogram and a new logo able to give Cersai a more complete and institutional brand architecture, able to set up a system, also visually, those that are the pillars of the initiatives of cersaie for the different targets. Starting from the calendar of meetings of architecture“Building Dwelling Thinking”, not forgetting the missions of foreign designers of cersaie Business, the meetings of design and lifestyle of Café della Stampa, practical and theoretical demonstrations of the City of Posa, themed exhibitions, B2B meetings for the redevelopment of the spaces of cersaie“Design your House”. The website www.cersaie.it is also renewed starting from the slider on the home page, now bigger and with images more d’ impact and appealing, and a greater space dedicated to videos and its social profiles.
A sector that resists the crisis
A cersaie meets and compares the world of Italian ceramics, which despite an 2018 less brilliant than expectations, still enjoys good health thanks to over 220 industries, around 25 thousand employees and over 6 billion turnover 2018. Export has exceeded 80% of total sales, the lifeblood of this niche of Italian industry that faced a crisis that halved volumes by increasing investments. In order to promote and strengthen the commercial relations between the exhibitors of cersaie and the international operators of the project, for the eighth consecutive year will be realized cersaie Business, the initiative that aims to bring during the five days of the fair, delegations of important architectural firms and interior designers, as well as international contract operators. The initiative – realized by cersaie in collaboration with Regione Emilia-Romagna and ITA-Agenzia – sees the increasing involvement of these important international influences and prescribers of the world of the project, with the aim of creating networking actions between these interlocutors and the Italian manufacturers of ceramics and bathroom furniture exhibiting at the exhibition. This year about a hundred key players will visit the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Furnishing, coming from 8 countries/geographical areas: United States, Canada, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Gulf area, Scandinavian countries and Baltic Republics.
