Pitti Immagine Filati 85 animates the Fortezza da Basso story, from 26th to 28th June.

Pitti Filati continues to focus on research, developing and consolidating the synergies between its different areas and strengthening the role of Spazio Ricerca, the driving force for creativity. With a fresh and engaging layout, Pitti Filati presents the excellence of spinning on an international scale. An audience of buyers from all over the world and designers of the best fashion brands, come to Florence to look for input and inspiration. The protagonist of this edition is the world autumn / winter 2020/21 preview of the knitting yarn collections. We remember with pleasure The Pitti Special Click, the theme of the next salons that synthesizes the energy that circulates in the Fortress and that suddenly finds a direction. The Piazzale Centrale of the Fortezza da Basso will be transformed once again into the design set by the life-styler Sergio Colantuoni. This is the great installation ever made at Pitti. A 1000 square meter stilt house will rise in the heart of the Fortress, to create a circular path, bordered by large perches with flags moving in the wind. A village that becomes a relaxation area, with white canopy sofas. A place to meet, talk, do business and more. The special graphic sign of The Pitti Special Click was created by the illustrator and designer Angelica Gerosa and the theme is also told by the advertising campaign of the salons signed by Emilio Tini, photographer and artist who with his style celebrates creativity and know-how Italian. Pitti Filati offers a great deal more: future trends and an area entirely dedicated to sustainability; but also Modateca Deanna and Feel the Yarn. It is really impossible to mention the large number of events and proposals that cover every sector, from vintage to fashion at work.
