Fragranze returns to the Station Leopolda in Florence

From 13th to 15th September 2019 the Stazione Leopolda will host the new edition of Fragranze.

The best proposals of artistic perfumery from all over the world will be the protagonists of the Florentine festival. Special guest of the 17th edition of Fragranze will be Jean-Claude Ellena with a retrospective dedicated to his olfactory works from 1976 to 2017. In addition, Chandler Burr (one of the world’s leading fragrance experts) will conduct a series of talks on the hottest topics of the moment. Fragranze also pays particular attention to the theme of skincare. A scientific talk conducted by Prof. Stefano Manfredini, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Toxicology – University of Ferrara, will investigate its peculiar aspects. Fragrances is also the culture and market of artistic perfumery: it will therefore be the economic observatory promoted by Pitti Immagine to talk about it. In fact, the economic survey of the sector and the market in Italy and in Europe continues. We also proposed in-depth studies on the structure and prospects of the distribution system. Digital as an enrichment of the brand experience: the presentation conducted by Ivano Cauli and Julia Sokolova will address the most important key points of the digital world, from the brand to the user experience. Finally, the program of events dedicated to the olfactory culture that involves the places of Florence is growing. Among the novelties of this edition, the olfactory visit to the exhibition Romanzo Breve of Fashion for Men. It is an exhibition created in collaboration with the Uffizi Galleries: on stage, thirty years of men’s fashion, from 1989 to the present, seen through the lens of Pitti Uomo.
