High expectations on the presence of international visitors, by virtue of the numerous promotional actions that involved operators from the most important markets for the sector, and on which a strong incoming activity was addressed. In Bologna there are international buyers carefully profiled and selected with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and in collaboration with UCIMA and ITA. Visiting delegations included representatives from Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, India, Israel, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Russia, and Turkey. To guarantee visitors and companies a broad, articulated and international perspective on a highly complex scientific and technological sector, where data and their analysis make the difference, Pharmintech presents Pharmintech Monitor, the Pharmintech Exhibition Observatory. Thanks to the collaboration with the UCIMA Study Center, a pool of experts and analysts has studied the reference markets for Life Science, offering privileged perspectives and points of observation, based on economic data, statistics and sector studies: from growth percentages to worldwide, at a more detailed look at the situation in key markets: Europe and the United States. Moreover, with the collaboration of the Golinelli Foundation and G-Factor – the incubator-accelerator aimed at emerging entrepreneurial realities, inaugurated on February 25th in Bologna – Pharmintech 2019 promotes the 10 most promising startups selected by a team of scientists and business experts among over 124 projects that participated in the Call for Ideas & Startup First Edition 2018 Life Science Innovation. Among the 10 projects selected, Pharmintech rewards the most interesting project on an industrial level, with the support of the event’s partners. Pharmintech therefore shares with the Golinelli Foundation and G-Factor the objective of favoring the integration between scientific research, industry and the market, focusing on young people and their business ideas. The award ceremony will be held during the Pharmintech Start-up Night, a gala evening by invitation scheduled for Thursday 11th April at the Opificio Golinelli in Bologna. Calendarized in synergy with Cosmofarma, the event dedicated to the world of pharmacy scheduled from 12th to 14th April 2019, Pharmintech contributes to creating a complete and diversified fair proposal. The Bologna Health Week, from 9th to 14th April, represents an essential appointment for the management, professional operators and technicians of the entire supply chain in the sector. At the center of the scene, the best of processing and packaging technologies, which represent Pharmintech’s “core business”, enriched by the proposals of the integrated supply chain, thanks to the presence of contents and solutions for production on behalf of third parties, industrial automation, distribution and supply chain management, clean rooms and digital solutions. Organized under the patronage of Federfarma Bologna and the Municipality of Bologna, the Bologna Health Week also involves citizens, encouraging prevention activities and screening: in about 90 pharmacies in Bologna and the province it is in fact possible to carry out examinations on specific conditions.
