Italia Legno Energia, thermal biomasses in Arezzo

The Arezzo event, now in its third edition, is in fact the only Italian event for the thermal biomass chain. A sector that, it should be remembered, moves important numbers: 32,000 employees, for a turnover of 4 billion euros, explain the specific weight well. If this were not enough, we stress that one third of all Italian renewable energies are produced with thermal biomasses. If we add to this the biennial frequency, it is easy to understand how much the kermesse is expected by the operators of the sector and by the general public. Over 180 companies present, and the exhibition spaces are completely sold out. Obviously present the best national and international producers of systems and equipment for wood and pellet heating, but also the main trade associations: AIEL, Anfus and Assocosma. It will be an opportunity to take stock of the latest news and hot topics in the sector, starting with certifications, incentives, innovation and energy efficiency.

Raul Barbieri, director of Piemmeti Spa

“Italia Legno Energia plays a strategic role. Italia Legno Energia plays a strategic role – explains Raul Barbieri, director of Piemmeti Spa, the Veronafiere company that organizes the Arezzo event. This year is the only real meeting platform that talks about our sector. But it also exploits the great visibility that a fair of this entity can activate, catalyzing a very high level of attention on the sector. A decisive occasion, therefore, also to spread a correct information with respect to the attacks that frame us almost as the sole responsible for the emission of fine dust. Even today, in fact, few people know that the chain, more than the others, has activated itself to improve air quality, with the production of more and more efficient machines and lower emissions, favoring technological turnover. This is why it is important for this event, alongside the producers able to enhance the commercial aspects, to see the participation of all stakeholders in the sector. It will be time to finally build a shared communication plan to support thermal biomass and to win the challenge of our country’s energy future. ” The entire production chain will be worthily represented: from machinery and equipment for the agroforestry sector and for the first wood processing (visible in the external area) to stoves, fireplaces, kitchens and wood and pellet boilers as well as wood products. used for energy purposes (firewood, pellets and wood chips). These products register a growing consensus among consumers, thanks to the ever higher levels of performance in terms of technological innovation and design. Not surprisingly, 70% of household pellet appliances sold in Europe are produced in our country. The third edition of the Arezzo fair confirms itself as an unmissable event, above all for central Italy, very rich in wooded areas and with important market prospects.
