Registrations are open for the 2022 edition of the Solobirra competitions, the special area of Hospitality the Reception Hall https://hospitalityriva.it/ and dedicated to the craft brewing sector, which will be from 31 January to 3 February 2022 in Riva del Garda (Tn).
In fact, Solobirra, Best Label and Best Pack are back, technical-graphic contests that test the quality and creativity of the best Italian and international craft beers.
The last edition of the initiative saw the participation of over 350 beers, labels and packaging.
Hospitality the Reception Hall, Solo Beer: 24 categories in the competition
There will be time until December 19 to participate in the technical competition that evaluates the organoleptic qualities of unpasteurized and unfiltered craft beers made by Breweries, Beer Firm, Brewery Rent and Brew Pub.
A biersommelier jury will evaluate the registered beers, decreeing the top three in each of the 24 categories in the competition, in addition to the “Beer of the year 2022”.
In Best Label and Best Pack space for graphic and communication studios, designers, printers and paper converting companies for the application of labels or packaging for artisanal brewing production.
For both competitions, registrations will remain open until December 31st. Particular attention is paid to impactful communication projects, capable of consistently transmitting the values of the brand using sustainable materials and supports.
The collaboration with the Fedrigoni group, specialized in the production of special papers and products for packaging and graphics, with the Paper and Self-Adhesives divisions, has also been confirmed for the 2022 edition.
The awards ceremony for the three contests is scheduled for Monday 31 January 2022 at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Center during the 46th edition of the Hospitality the Reception Hall, one of the main events dedicated to the hospitality and catering sectors. The winning beers will remain on display from 31 January to 3 February 2022 in the Solobirra area, as well as being valued throughout the year in the dedicated online showcase on the fair’s website and social channels.
