Padova has been a reference point for the antiques sector for 35 years, and it is thanks to Antiquaria Padova.
The kermesse, the only high-level appointment in northern Italy, manages to be so tied to tradition, as it is able to renew itself continuously thanks to an exhibition offer that is always of high quality and of great interest.
It is therefore easy to understand how Antiquaria Padova, year after year, brings together many collectors and professionals of the sector (but also enthusiasts and simple curious) to crowd the pavilion. Over 70 exhibitors, who will show unique objects of undoubted value. On the occasion of this important milestone, Antiquaria Padova proposes an artistic journey that winds its way from the Renaissance to the twentieth century: from the classic sought-after antique furniture in the field of design and collecting, including tapestries and oriental carpets of high manufacture, to a refined selection of paintings – among which there will be the classic Venetian views, from the precious Venetian silver of the eighteenth century to handcrafted jewels ranging from the déco vintage parure to the forties bracelets, from the wooden sculptures to the marble works, as well as a relevant collection of Gallé vases. In the 35th edition of Antiquaria Padova, a stimulating encounter and confrontation with modern and contemporary art will also be presented to the public, thanks to some important Italian art galleries that will contribute to creating a continuous exchange between artistic languages from different eras, stimulating interesting reflections on transversal themes that manage to create a bridge between seventeenth-century paintings and works from this century.
